Really want this lad back, shivers down the spine watching his goals here last season

That finish against City in the final was sublime......I hope to fuck he comes here....I just have my doubts for some reason.

It must be getting towards the point we give Liverpool & Borini a deadline before we move on to other targets. As much as i want him to sign, we need to know one way or another now imo

has to be, we lost Onion and moved onto Rodwell pretty quick

As it seems to be the case that we've agreed the fee with Liverpool, and,it seems as if we've met the player contract demands, any delay can only be for one of two reasons. Either,he's not sorted his end of contractual position with Liverpool yet or he doesn't want to come to us. In the latter case,he may be trying for a better offer elsewhere, knowing he has us already in the bag. There is a time limit for us though, and it seems as though we may have reached it.

Naming days for things to happen is the downfall of many an "ITK" as when it doesnt happen on that day the lunatics take over the asylum on here.

Borini situation is also complicated by the fact that Liverpool's deal for Remy fell through as at present, there's only Sturridge and Lambert really in front of Borini and seemingly Sturridge could be a doubt for start of season so he could be thinking the door could open for him to take his chance. People thinking that you should sack off a player because he doesnt sign within a set amount of time are barmy.

The club WILL be working on alternative targets should the deal for Borini not happen. They won't simply be tapping their fingers by the phone in case it rings. Could well be that its us that makes the decision for Borini if we get another player sorted before he makes his mind up.

Patience is an important virtue in any business. Negotiations will never go well if you have no patience.
Haven't the bin dippers just signed a striker?

EDIT: Staying at the original club til next year. f***ing hell - £10M on a 19 year old not deemed good enough for the squad as yet

Liverpool play with three up top and have Sterling, Sturridge, Lambert, Markovic, Coutinho and Lallana to fill those three spaces and that's before they complete a deal for whoever was next on their list after Remy.

and we are mad for attempting to sign a proven striker in this league apparently

I quite like Victor Moses.... another one who went to a big club when young and who has not got the games he needed to progress

Theres a few out there, Sinclair too. May be worthwhile taking him on too or Moses as you say to provide that 'different' striker should Borini not make it
