Hadn't seen it, just reporting that some had been found. I suppose we'll find out tomorrow.

New OT is much much better.

Well unless they have changed just about every stand I disagree. Probably the flattest test ground in the country. And the post box looks crap.

We have a good record there.

Is it as cut and dry as seeing any sort of shove? Or do they look at the force used etc?

This

Trent Bridge is tremendous. Old Trafford is poor.

Last week they were saying the Indians thought it was a closed case.
yes. Any contact and that is a ban

i fancy ali for a few here, with the way its turning. always knew moores would get the lads playing . 31 for 2 pujara out

ali should have dhawan out lbw. pad first and the review shows it would have hit middle stump, half way up. its a decision you get everytime with drs.

how he could not see it hit pad first, when ballance has been given out twice, when it was six inches away from hitting his bat

the umps made to look fools with no drs
as i said i fancied ali for a few

re the anderson carry on, even if a ban is the result, there must be an appeal process, if jadeja can appeal his fine?

Didn't used to be. If Jimmy had pushed an opposition player 20 years ago he would have got a smack in the mouth. Now they go crying to teacher. The f***ing soft shites.
By the same token, Jimmy knew the score and should have his arse kicked for putting himself in that position. Silly lad. We'll see what happens....might not be as bad as we think.

Get in, been a really enjoyable 5 days watching that, absolute perfection, there is the makings of a good team here, just needs fine tuning, the lack of back up to Anderson is worrying.

I think Anderson will be banned, but I wonder if there is anyway we can swindle it so he misses the one day series instead?

Absolutely delighted for Cook and Moores though. Cook captained really really well and I hope he gets the rightful praise for it, if he can keep scoring runs the team will perform so much better.

Moores gets a lot of stick on here, but one thing he is very good at, is bringing in young players and letting them flourish, he did that in his first spell and he has done it here Some players like Ali and Ballance look like they are seasoned pros at times, and although that is mainly down to them, it is encouraging that Moores has created a environment for them to play well.

I think Moores has just been a bit to cautious at times, he should of trusted Buttler from the start of the summer, or certainly after the Sri Lanka series. He also needs to get a few more of the young batch of players we have involved, particularly Hales, the game is changing, these type of players can really make a positive impact on test cricket, just like Warner, Finch and co will do for Australia.

Alright Peter?

there must be a right of appeal if he is banned.

christ looked at how the indians reacted during the lords test. hardly dignified behaviour.

i really think this is duncan fletcher. he has never forgiven the ecb and the press for his time in charge of the 2006/2007 ashes debacle.

i would lay odds its a simple two handed push, which is technically assault but is in no way harmful or has marked jadeja in any way.

its petty and totally unnecessary and i would be saying this if jadeja had pushed anderson. why did they wait three days before the subject was brought up?

How can I comment? I have no time for either Fletcher OR the ECB

cant agree re moores. he is an excellent county coach, no doubt about that, at test level, he has shown to be not so god. yes we won today but we have lost every series under moores this summer, so far.

That's the one glimmer of hope from this for me. Based on what's been reported, it appears the Indians think it's a done deal, but the question has to be asked, if it really was that clear cut, why did they wait so long and not even think to mention it to the match referee?

As far as an appeal is concerned, I believe if we do appeal, the ban is held suspended until the appeal hearing is heard. So hopefully we can time the appeal just right so he can play in the remaining 2 tests, then be suspended for the pointless stuff with the white ball, if we're lucky they see the appeal as being frivolous and chuck an extra few games on so he can have the winter off from the white ball crap and be ready for the important stuff next summer against the Aussies.
