I know we all love Bob's pull no punches approach but the one person to sum it all up best today is Nasser with his speech at the end of the day. Nailed it completely.
Aye that was utterly superb, SSN editing left a lot to be desired mind . After Nas was utterly superb in giving his view on the situation it went to strauss being a lick arse I shouted fuck off at strauss and turned off the TV.

Really should be no place for strauss, swann etc as pundits when they are far too close to the set up.

Bob Willis hated the media while a player but I suppose he has to earn a living.

What would Gower, Botham, Vaughan, Hussain etc have said to ex-captains and players criticising them during their playing days? Easy talking about it.

My hatred of Strauss grew during this test especially when he was commentating with Dravid.

"Isn't that right, Rahul?"

"Rahul, what do you make of?"

"Rahul, won't you let me wrap my tounge around your cock"

Fuck offffff!

What did he say then?

Liking the new avatar Brandon

Was saying that Australia would miss Clarke if he wasn't part of their side but England wouldn't miss Cook. Asked that if he feels he isn't contributing as England captain, he should hand it on

Can't argue with that. The only player I can see around the England set up who would show similar leadership is Morgan. He seems to have a steely determination everyone is praising Cook for, would play the game in an attacking, aggressive style (I mean field settings etc, not sledging) and I think give the players a kick up the arse. Unfortunately he hasn't convinced enough with the bat. Although he's having a decent season his form doesn't seem to have been as good as the likes of Hales, Taylor, Patel or Lees. However, at the moment I'd take a player like that who'd be similar to the likes of Cronje and Fleming. Not the greatest players in the world but they added so much to their team as captain.

It feels similar to the era that Hussain took over in, I think we need someone of his ilk to come in and least get the players scrapping for the lives and really wanting to play for England. At the moment too many, particularly the senior players, seem to be mentally shot, just going through the motions or there isn't a strong enough leader to get them out of the team.

bob has the straightest face for comedy i have seen. even back in the day of that youtube clip. the bloke is a comedy genius

anyone remember him describing englands fielders in the windies around the 90s as a selection of camels, elephants and giraffes

I heard Cronje once bought all of his players sports cars and bought jewelry for the players wives. We NEED a captain with this kind of team mentality.

thing is, where and how old hansie got the money from?

I was poking fun at the fact that he named Cronje as someone that England could do with when he is almost certainly the worst cricket captain of all time.
Obviously I didn't mean that bit of his character but the way he lead the team most of the time!

Not like the bookies need England to throw games anyway
