He needs to be seen to be happy to stay at Liverpool, that way they will need to give him a pay off. If he asked to leave he'd forfeit that
Or god forbid, he picks up an injury that scarpers the move and he has to remain at Liverpool he still needs to be considered once fit to play again, Fabio isn't a stupid lad and knows what needs weighing up.

His last game against Roma this coming week? One last hurrah against his old team, probably.

Aye i know, but it looks to me like Liverpool are calling his bluff by saying they are happy to keep him. I can't see him being happy sitting on the bench behind 3 or 4 other strikers. Wouldn't be surprised if the agent is playing everyone at the minute

Whats everyone's opinion on the Borini situation? His agent is saying hes staying at liverpool to fight for his place, i honestly think we should give them a take it or leave it offer then move onto different targets, like that Rodriguez, if they decline

Wouldn't give up hope yet to be honest. I think he'll sign, but we'll be waiting a little. Makes sense for him not to be seen publicly to force the move through and lose out on a loyalty pay-off.

No need to worry just yet until something more concrete comes out.

Can you blame him for wanting to stay at Liverpool? People saying he won't get a game: he'll get at least one chance to prove himself, if he takes that and shows what he can do then he could easily break into the team ahead of Lambert and Sturridge in my honest opinion. Remy I'm not sure about, but he's got to fancy his chances, he's super confident and that

Absolute rubbish.

Tell me how the way we've handled the Connor Wickham situation is not amateur? Or, if it's true, the Borini negotiations. Or found ourselves hiring a new manager every year, or for no good reason f***ing up the away support application process, or letting Colback (and others) run down his contract and leave for nowt
The way we've handled the Connor Wickham situation is not amateur. Before April, there's nobody in the NE who would have been able to argue strongly for giving him an improved contract. And you have absolutely no idea what the club have done on the Borini deal.

good question. i think liverpool have taken the offer, it appears the player has doubts. it will rumble on, until the season starts and borini is not even on the bench for liverpool

maybe, depends what it is
