My previous post wast direct from someone at Liverpool btw. For those that didnt pick it up. Borini is staying at Liverpool because Rodgers keeps telling him he thinks he's a great player and doesn't want him to go. Until Brenda grows a set he's staying.
 
if its agents what are we supposed to do....offer daft money.??....surely we have offered him terms similar to Johnson or more.

We've went on for weeks sussing out a price
He's went to the USA the next day

And now his agents being quoted saying he'd prefer to stay at Liverpool which is apparently a week old but also breaking news

its all very strange , surely waiting so long for an answer from him poyet would have had an inkling if he wanted to come here , its getting closer to ko we really need players in asap
 
Time for Congerton to earn his money, we can't let it go on until later in the window. Either he really wants to stay at Liverpool and Liverpool want him, or his agent is playing games and wants us and / or liverpool to "make it worth his while" leaving to join us. Either way, we need to be strong and take control one way or another.

i'd still be amazed if we've gone this far without some indication he'd be willing to join us, i wouldn't be surprised if its his agent playing games

Exactly this. The agent is there to get his client the best deal, so far the agent is earning his money big time!

He needs to be seen to be happy to stay at Liverpool, that way they will need to give him a pay off. If he asked to leave he'd forfeit that
