Are you really trying to compare the two. Look at our bowlers compared to there's. Combined they have less wickets than broad

Just highlighting the massive double standard there is on here with Cook v the rest of the world. You backed it up straight away with your 'our batters are better, so ner' line. :D

So are our bowlers, and we bowled utter shite at them and saw them get a 10th wicket stand of 111.

I didn't blame cook for that last wicket partnership, you just choosing to be a cook fan boy and make up arguements to suit yourself.

I don't think anyone has a problem with Cook, tbh. It is a sign of desperation, though, when we use shortcomings from another international captain to kind of say "see Cook is not the only one who makes poor decisions".

We shouldn't be bothered in the slightest about Dhoni's shortcomings to be honest, and they have utterly no bearing on the issue.

Think Joe Root is deserves a lot of credit for his knock today. Ali, Prior, Stokes and Plunkett departed without much fanfare but Root trudged on despite a tough start, marshalling Broad nearly to 50 and then more impressively Anderson to 23 to give England a slither of hope at 105 behind with 1 wicket remaining.

The longer these two bat on in the morning the better because, on paper it should take India a fair bit of time to bowl us out again on this horrible track.

There is no double standard, the bloke has lost six of the last seven tests and we are struggling against a novice India side on home turf. He averages less than most the tail enders. He is not doing a very good job, simple as.

Haway @Steak Pie where did I blame cook for the Indian 10th wicket partnership

Happens a lot with Cook's England though doesn't it?

Boycs suggested the bloke is so busy shitting his pants about the first ball he loses focus on the bowling strategy.

They've done well but will struggle if they are in still in the side when the Aussies come. Harris will have ballances life.

They've have had very easy pitches and attacks to face, but you can only play whats put in front of you.

Isn't Harris fucked again? Knee blew up again, he's probably done at this level

You might sound harsh, but to be honest there's nothing I can disagree with you about.
