Stoneman looked disgusted with his decision, unfortunately he showed his displeasure and is likely to get a reprimand for it.

Although I wouldn't suggest any that there would ever be any favouritism shown by the umpires, you'd think that the ECB could have made an appointment of umpires with something less of a connection to the home team?
 
163-3 at Lunch. 32 behind. Good session for us that. I'd have taken losing 2 wickets. If we do that next session I feel we'll be pretty close to securing the draw.

As has become the norm this season Stoneman making runs has been key. He'll be gutted not to still be there but as Harry related to - the homer unpires have put paid to that.

We need Richardson to book in now I'd say.

For some reason certain umpires always seem to be umpiring at the same venue. To have two Yorkshiremen umpiring at Headingley is just ridiculous though.

I'm not even suggesting their integrity is to be questioned, but it's obvious concerns will be forthcoming.
