If any player acted like that at any other point in the game they'd have been booked or worse. Why does a penalty shoot out make it alright?
 
A World Cup that been played with great sportsmanship soured by 2 players from the Premier League, the game is broken in this country!

The ref was weak as piss mind, he should have yellow carded him after the first time.

But going on like that against Costa Rica is a c*nts trick.
 
In the end it makes no odds, because the only people who will remember it (who matter to us) will be us saying he's a twat, and Newcastle fans saying he was great. If anyone else does bother to remember it, it'll be remembered as 'Van Gaal's tactical genius' - or something equally absurd.

For the record, I think it's soured (only slightly) what was a good game of football with (generally) both teams playing almost fairly and with good conduct, and giving their all to a huge match.

Much like the rest of the tournament really - great football, great underdogs, but a little too much diving, 'gamesmanship' - and biting of course.
 
Don't see why this reflects on us. He's playing for Holland and the Dutch have always had a snidey side to them.Poor antics imo and he should have got a lot closer to two of them that he let in. He's OK as keepers go, but he flaps half the time and punches when the sensible thing is to grab the ball. He, Van Gaal and the Dutch won't care. They have a chance for revenge against Argentina and possibly Germany if they both get through.
 
He more or less came through the wankers youth system and plays with players like steven Taylor so im not surprised hes a wanker. He's took on the pathetic traits of mags, just search for bendtners pen when they switched the flashing advertising boards on to try and put him off or taylors antics against stoke when the scum had a free kick. They're just wankers man
 
I for one enjoyed that. People are far too f***ing precious about their football these days.

He's still a lopsided gargoyle skunk like.
