That's how he will have been sold the club undoubtedly. It's the only reason why players would sign for us when we have no ambition to be nothing else but mid-table and we can forget about the cup competitions.
colback to a tee. where wil he play if de jong likes to play central, tiote already there. could do a job at left back though

If you get 2-3 more players of de Jong's calibre you will do better than mid table.

So you admit your bitter about them then, you have nothing left to say.

Please tell me where I am incorrect here.

When we signed Giaccherini, people were buzzing about the lad, yet many hadn't even seen him play. So the same wouldn't happen had we signed this lad?

I think we all need to agree that the mags have bagged a canny deal here, for the money they paid, and move on with our own transfer dealings.
why can we all agree when this lad has zero premier league appearances and is going into a club that are a couple of defeats away from anarchy?

maybe the people who know about him would? But that doesn't mean to say they should have the same opinion as you though, so you can't really speak on their behalf

Eh? But all you do is call mag signings shit. I don't think I've ever seen you put your hands up and say "The mags have signed a decent player" You're contradicting your post here.
Have I actually called him shit? Find the post where I've called him shit!!!

I have never heard of him or seen him play like

I'm not really comfortable with what has happened to Jards like.

This just isn't comfortable to watch. Does anyone on here know him, who could maybe drop by and check he's alright?

Think the mods might have to step in here and maybe get shot of this cos I don't want to have to have the fallout of this on my mind.
Just watching the bairn at cricket so don't get too concerned if I go a bit quiet kid ;)

Bitter about f***ing what? They've signed a player who's almost 26 has 6 Dutch caps and played all of his career in a poor league

Aye paxton I'm heading for the rope I'm that bitter

I am not trying to force my opinion on people who genuinely haven't seen the lad.

But, it's clear that there are posters on this thread that have seen him, yet will still brand him as 'shit' due to their bitterness towards the mags.

Has anyone mentioned he looks like a decent signing for £6 million ? I'd be happy if we had him................. but fuck it, this is SMB, so he's an overpriced journeyman.

If we start getting anywhere near a European qualifying spot we'll start rolling over in games to ensure we finish mid table. Don't want us creating extra expenses for ourselves, we'd end up being a Leeds or a Portsmouth.

I never suggested you were, but you did say "we all agree". Apart from that, it will only be a bargain if he doesn't turn into an Altidore or an Afonso Alves. That is to early to call, although knowing the luck them bastards have, he'll turn out better than Cabaye

Borini has played less than a handful of games anarl, Negredo of city doesn't have that many caps either. What does that matter, you'd still love it if we signed either of those 2.
