Surely there has to be better talent or the same quality for £12M. I don't think he is worth that to be honest, more like £8M I will not be disappointed if he doesn't come as long as we get someone with quality in as replacement.

The big advantage with Borini is he knows the team, would fit straight in and the fans love him. This could be important given the number of changes we should have made by the end of the window.
 
I'd take any comments from players' agents with a pinch of salt. Still a long while before the transfer window closes for this deal to go ahead.
 
I'd be surprised if we hadn't asked him if he'd sign for us before putting a bid in. It's not like we couldn't ask him while he was here.

Hope we asked him after the Man C game.If we'd have asked him before that he'd have said whatever the Italian is for " fuck off...no chance."
