Unfortunately he doesn't really save a lot. Or am I imagining that?

I must admit, he had a good start when he first came into the side but the last month or so I think he's been a bit poor; gets beat from distance a bit and lets a lot of relatively soft goals in.

Not a reaction to his mistake tonight (which was one of them things that just happens, regardless of how good a keeper is), but not sure he's the wonder keeper many think he is (far from our biggest problem mind)

I know he's done well for the majority of the season but over the last few weeks has look very shaky.

And that tonight was schoolboy stuff !!

Absolutely gutted that we lost two points because of that !!

It was very poor.

But can you blame him for looking shaky behind a defence that makes 5 or 6 bad mistakes in every match? He has made far fewer mistakes than they have.

Howlers happen. It wasn't as bad as Mignolet's v WBA last season.

When the ball was cut back to Nasri I was expecting him to bury it tbh, then saw Mannone get something on it and thought he'd saved it. Was gutted for the lad when it crept in. Probably should have got across to it looking at the replays. Sums up our season.

Shit happens would rather he made that mistake in a dead rubber for us rather than an important game next season.

When we got him my Arsenal supporting work mates said he's a canny keeper overall but drops absolute clangers at critical moments.

There you go. They were right.

Awful keeping tonight. A good keeper is a must for next season, regardless of where we end up.

We've got a good keeper man. One mistake doesn't make him a bad keeper. Just like the poyet out brigade - so fickle our fans. Mannone was the best thing since sliced bread three weeks ago!

I've always thought he was overrated. He's a bit of a fan favourite after the Man U second leg so seems to avoid getting criticised so much. He's not a bad keeper but he's not a patch on Mignolet who some have said he's better than.

we can blame Mannone for that goal, but at the end of the day when the ball comes to Nasri in that much space he should score. Thought Mannone was lucky to get a foot on the ball. I don't know how Nasri ended up in so much space but whoever didn't track him should hold some blame for the equaliser IMO.

Mannones only got to move his legs and get behind the ball

Well i like him. Good season, probably the only one who has had one, a game changing mistake was always coming (it happened to mignolet v west brom was it?). Hope hes number 1 for us next season
