No, I personally dont rate him at all either. Running about a lot and being able to tackle is all he has to his game (and the tackling part is debateable). He's an idiot at times and a liabillity, I admit I dislike like him as a person but if he was a good footballer Id say keep him. He is in no way a premier league standard footballer.

He's been excellent away from home. He may not be first choice if this joker from Brighton comes in but it's so stupid if we sell . The squad already needed improving, we shouldn't be selling to buy at the minute , we are 19th

You say he isn't a Premier League footballer, remind me how many games he's played outside of it?

Yes he has a dodgy temper but he also provides us with a lot of cover, can be a decent passer of the ball, a good organiser and genuinely looks like he cares.

There should be no way he should be out of the door before Larsson or Gardner. I've been assured Bridcutt is very keen to come here but it's a big ask for him to step up straight away.
 
Cattermole is never going to fit into poyets style of play. He is not technically good enough, nor has a fast enough brain, or capable of keeping possession of the ball under pressure. He panics under pressure and needs far too much time on the ball. We have all seen this on many occasion this season. He struggles in tight situations, and half of the time it is his own fault for getting into them as he isn't quick enough or have the vision to make the correct pass.
