Not convinced by Tredwell at all, I think they'll pick largely the same team to let them get out of the mess they've gotten into. Flower said there'll be 1 or 2 changes.

Funnily enough wood was one of the first bowlers in mind when i started but i ran out of room before getting to him or harrison. i was probably being a bit daft tbh, i'll try again.

Cook (C), Stoneman, Borthwick, Bell, Ballance, Stokes, Mustard+, Arshad, Wood, Rushworth, Onions.

edit : buckley to come in on a turning pitch but fuck nars who for, maybe rushy as arshad and wood can hold a bat better....

Rushy might not be best suited to the conditions - just like Anderson hasn't had much swing..... As for a Wood, he's quicker and less slingy than that Freddie Mercury looking c*nt.

try out some younger players, give rest to some older players, bats down to 10 to give us a shot of at least getting a draw. 4 pace bowlers, 2 spin options.. job done.

still get beaten like, who cares. at least by playing borthwick it will give me a reason to watch the test
 
I couldn't care less who is in the team, I just hope it f***ing rains long enough for us to plod our way to a draw. Our lot don't deserve to win a test in this series and their lot don't deserve to be up along side greats like Warne, McGrath, Ponting and Langer as having recorded a 5-0 over us.

TBF they have played exceptionally well. it is a real shame we have been so shite as this could have had the makings of a great, great test series.

With the last ashes only just finished before this one started it was always going to be a hiding to nothing. Totally ruined both series having them so close together. Still, if we had played cricket like he did last time in australia it could have been compulsive viewing. as it is neither series will be in anyway memorable

I remember standing at Lunch in 2007 watching a tribute to Warne and McGrath on the big screen at the SCG, that was just before they put the final nail in the 5-0.

The general consensus was 5-0 was shit yes, but they had been gubbed by some of the all time great cricketers. This Australian team, Clarke aside, are a load of journeymen.

It's been quite frankly a pathetic, shambolic, inept, embarrassing, and gutless performance as a team, and heads should roll.
