@dimitrisvergos Panathinaikos winger Charis Mavrias finally on his way to Sunderland to undergo medical. Deal of £2.5m plus £850,000 add-ons agreed. #safc
 
Can see him on the bench rather than in the team at the moment, but he'll strengthen the squad and, if he's any good, he'll compensate for any departures who are on bigger wages.

i hope both get decent game time this season, DMK already looks like a talented footballer and this lad has a good reputation.... would like to see these play some part, even if it was first team in both cup competitions

Absolutely.

Karlsson looked decent in pre-season and Mavrias looks a good prospect. I doubt I'd fancy either of these two coming off the bench running at me after 70 minutes. Its these kind of prospects who may just go on to make a big impact for us in the future, young talented lads with a lot of potential. Hopefully we can coach them to realise that potential!

Get the lad signed!
