Forecasts are varied so u can't say this as it depends on which you look at?

Thursday night said rain all day on Friday at Old Trafford, rain was forecast all day yesterday and all day today. In the end it rained for about an hour this evening. I wouldn't be worried about the forecast just yet.

Just checked on the BBC site earlier. I know it changes by the day so hopefully by next Thursday they are forecasting drier weather.

I was just hoping for a little indication that we could have a few dry days. But it's actually forecast heavy showers all next weekend.

Like lad above says they can't forecast weather accurately over a week ahead and some sites are saying no rain at all and a decent forecast so wouldn't worry just yet marra!!

Programmes - £5 at Headingley, Lords & OT this summer.

Tea/Coffee - £2

Grog - £4.20

Food - never buy it but noticed today a bacon bap was £4

It's changing all the time, some doom merchants on here mind ;(

Only going by what I see on Met Office website. I've been looking forward to this for months and will be gutted if rained off. Nothing to do with being a "gloom merchant" whatever one of those is

You've been quiet this test mind

Only one I've not been off work to watch.

Edit: Or were you suggesting its beause the Aussies have done okay? If so, that's not the case. It seems I'm one of the few on here gutted that the rain has arrived. I wanted to see us frustrate them with the bat, which despite the early fall of wickets I still expected us to do.

The latter ;-)

Nah I'm gutted to. If anyone had got a result here would have been well deserved, and a gripping end to a decent Test. Complete anti climax this, rubbish way to retain the urn.

I agree.

Gutted I havent seen anything of it, especially as its meant I've missed KP's ton ;-) and Clarkes knock too

Edit: they need to go back to offering the batsmen the choice of going off for light IMO cos yesterday was a joke.
