haha I'm willing to take both my friend's opinions with a pinch of salt. Realistically it would be like me commenting on someone like Oxlade-Chamberlain. I've seen him play a few great games, seen him play shite. If someone asked me to rate him I would probably say highly talented but not the finished product.

I guess we will find out. maybe. if he comes.

It's that hope I'm wrong line, does he post on here already?

I am sure Swedish lads would have said the same about Moberg Karlsson but he looks a bit of a find and both of them will hopefully only be required to come on and run at tiring players.

Very good in the first game - showed little in the second.

nah you're right I caught that - another one who likes to hedge his bets.

It was interesting though, that as soon as Karlsson was stripped and ready to come on against Man City, Pellegrini chucked Kolarov straight on too, so it was fresh legs v fresh legs.

Not all Premiership teams will be in a postion to have 2 class LB's at their disposal, but I think Karlsson might just surprise a few this season, coming on after an hour to run at a tiring defence and pushing Johnson for his spot!

Exactly, he didnt like he idea of a young lad with fresh legs comin on so changed his side so obviously he was effective by default. He then proceeded to whip in a couple of canny corner to the far post and a fast low cross with the outside of his left, didn't have the opportunity to do much else as he didnt see the ball. I just have a feeling he'll be a surprise package for us this season.

Has bags of potential and has been looked at by a number of clubs apparently. Was going to go on Jan for more money but his club rejected the offer IIRC correctly. I would be very happy with our 4 wingers when this happens.

Did I see on one of the links he can also play full back, or was that someone else?

The Northern Echo weirdly claimed Mavrias could play left back yesterday but they appear to have plucked it clean out of the air. He isn't even left-footed.
