I have a friend that is a PAOK supporter, and obviously when we were linked with Mavrias he told me that he isn't a particularly brilliant prospect and that we are overpaying (the rumoured fee).

I have a friend who is an Aris supporter - this is what he said in regards to him:

Mavrias was playing for panathinaikos, i think he was in their academies, which are very good. He is very promising but i think he will need a year or something to reach the desired level, and the mentality he needs to play in the premier league.

I also have a friend who is a PAOK supporter (they are married to two sisters - family rivalry in Thessaloniki!) This is what he said in regards to Mavrias:

This for me as well. I think based on Di Canio's style as a player he could help improve him a lot.
