Mavrias is definitely not crucial at the moment. We are alright at the wings, we have Larsson, maybe we keep Mcclean, there is this swedish little boy. If resources are limited it's better to by FBs and the midfielder at the moment. We will have time to buy young guys after january and June

Much more pressing issues, if Mavrias was something special then fair enough, but getting in a right back, left back, and central midfielder is much more important imo.

Alright but they would be back ups.. We have Johnson and Giaccherini starting now, which are pretty good imo.. Let's see, I'd be happy if we buy Mavrias but only after we manage to sell some players. First if he comes he needs to have minutes, he is already an international, played in good competitions. It's not like he would come for the devel squad.And then at the moment the situation doesn't look great, we are not selling at all. Maybe they are waiting because of that too

Why be so pedantic? Whether it was last season or the season before we've seen enough of him on the wings to suggest he is not what is needed. He's not quick/tricky enough to be a winger and I fear he does not have the stamina/quality to be worthy of a place in the centre of midfield.
