I know mate, I'm not defensive. I just would rather people give people a chance. You have seen him play, I haven't. You have a more informed view. But I also trust our management team until I am proved wrong. Sorry I just prefer being a glass half full person.

We're saying he's an exciting signing with a good potential. You for some reason don't seem very inspired by this signing because your mate says he's not very good.

Not many 19 year olds have a record like that, he must have something about him, enough to get a bit excited about

It's a funny thing like. If I had come on here and said about how I'd been told by a friend how brilliant Mavrias is and how he is going to completely steal the show this season, I bet there'd have been a very different response.

He'll be really good for us IMO, though I doubt we'll see much of him in the first 6 months. Will mainly be a sub and the odd cup appearance, it'll be a year or two down the line when he'll really be expected to shine.
