Lancs = draw & Worcester = defeat? If Lancs lose then they must surely be odds on to go down.

Lancs Uni already lining up the weather stat excuses

Good start for Lancs. Shite start for Worcester

Middlesex: 52-3 (15.3 overs)
Lancashire:

Surrey: 30-2 (16.2 overs)
Nottinghamshire:

Sussex: 46-1 (16.3 overs)
Somerset:

Worcestershire: 21-6 (14.1 overs)
Warwickshire:

Worcester all out for 60.

Looking at the league table they went into this game 44 points behind us. They can now, maximum, only get 19 points from this game and 24 points from their last game so they cant now catch us by my reckoning.

Lancashire are 43 points behind us and therefore need to win their game this week and get 20 from their last game to climb above us, thats assuming we get no points from our last game next week.

Almost impossible now for us to go down.

Worcs all out for 60

They've had worcs, but not much worcs

Don't Lancs play Surrey?

I suspect if Worcs can't catch us, we are now mathematically safe?

Well, I guess if both Surrey and Lancs win these games we are not...

Yes they do.

however my brain doesnt allow me to computate 3 teams at once.

I'm sure as you say we're probably mathematically safe now.

High scoring wins here for L and S, plus a win for Lancs but Surrey scoring good bonus points, plus us getting virtually nul point

Relegation. What are the chances?

About 10000/1 now

Even if Worcs do the unthinkable and win from this position they'll only get 19 points which would leave them 25 points behind us. Lancs need to win both of their remaining games and take a minimum 22 points from each game to overhaul us. And that's assuming we get beat and don't take any bonus points either.

We're not mathematically safe yet, but the big lass is warming up.
