He's perfectly capable of scoring at a strike rate of 75-80, his inclusion and performance in the ODIs show this. Just because he does go slow during Tests, doesn't mean he can't accelerate. :neutral:

We'll see. Before his England call up he had a mountain of T20 runs but he needs to go at way more than 80 here.

Forget it man. Unless the ball is being heaved over cow corner, it's dull, and anyone capable of hooking for 6 is a flamboyant risk-taker.
 
I was using his ODI strike rate as an example. I know he needs more than 80, and more importantly so will he. He's an intelligent cricketer.

Much better performance in this test. Swann in for Bresnan in the last test for me.
