No bias because i support Durham but i would have played Onions!

There was an interview with Prior a few weeks back and he said he hates keeping to Onions at Lords so he feels for the batsmen having to face him!

That and he has a bit of form too!
 
Picking Bresnan was no brainer for me. Done nothing wrong and we are 100% with him in the side.

Don't want them to win a test against us but certainly want them to be competitive (they seem to be improving). Test cricket is certainly better with a good WIndies knocking about.

Most of this side (Chanderpaul aside) are under 30 or have just hit that age so, given time, they should become a decent team.
 
Good days play that, ended up with a score I was expecting after the toss, great bowling by Broad and a typically stoic display from Chiv. Looking forward to seeing some good batting tomorrow and a lead with wickets in hand by the end of play 8-)

What a waste of talent.

Great day's play from England today, class stuff from Broad. Hopefully he can finish them off in the morning, ideally without Shiv contributing anything more to the total.

Does anyone have a good quality (free) link to watch tomorrow's play? I'm staying with the inlaws this week and they haven't got sky sports :evil:
