The road that starts at Foxglove Garden Centre, in Chester-Le-Street, going towards Pity Me is immense.

Anymore?

Oh and the jump at Whitemare Pool, ya kna the one.

a stretch at haverton hill hartlepool , a good 4 miles long , starts off like driving over silicon tits then straightens out for a good stretch , not a copper in sight .

approach to the pemberton arms comming from easington to durham road , a bridge near the junction is a good place to get all 4 wheels off the ground.

Burden lane is canny unless you get someone going 20 in front of you.

Not in the North East but the best road I've been on for driving is the A7 from Longtown to Hawick.
Great scenery, plenty of bends, hills and straights and you can see for miles ahead meaning you can get your foot down.
Just watch out for the motor bikes.
It's worth driving up there, it really is.

The B6344 from The Anglers Arms, at Weldon Bridge - Into Rothbury.
Passing the Cragside Estate on the way.

Only if you know the road well, mind.
(I often go up with chicken deliveries).

Awesome scenery, and a great for thrills.

There's a couple of hump-back bridges, and a couple of just humps in the road.
You can't see the other side until the last couple of seconds.
In a decent car, start accelerating approaching the bridge.
If owt is coming, PLENTY of time to slow down. If not, carry on accelerating.

Hit the bridge at about 45.
Your belly is in your mouth and your bollocks are in your belly.

Other than that, a pretty quiet road, nice relaxing drive. If you get on it at the right time.
