Sunderland would be in the shit without NISSAN and that's a fact, and don't forget it was Thatcher that got us NISSAN,
DO NOT VOTE LABOUR, SUNDERLAND IS DYING BECAUSE OF THEM...

As posted once you've been through years of both parties...ones as bad as the other..mind wouldn't trust the tories this time with regional pay etc...
All about money...nowt else...if theres nowt in the pot.. nowt will be done...
Best bets to get all your bills and direct debits sorted on the interweb...hoy out all the daft ones....keep the basics....dont subscribe to shite etc...
With your spare cash...enjoy your life...;)

They don't support Cameron, he's not Conservative enough for them.
And the majority of Labour supporters are too stupid to realise the reality of what would happen if they did get in.
Labour milked and blamed the markets for all of their shortcomings, the payback's a bitch and we would all know about it.
It's all about the bankers Gordon, what about your 5% of borrowing for the best 10 years of economic growth we've ever seen?
And throughout that time we had a steady 3% of growth, did we, when you are borrowing 5%, in reality your public sector bribes for votes and immigration policy meant while the world was booming we were really running at a 2% deficit.
Vote Labour, because you're too stupid to do maths a 5 year old could do before they got in and a 16 year can't do after they got in.
1/4 of the country is illiterate, equal with Victorian times, and teachers want a pay rise and moan about pensions.

silly fool

Well said

Anyone who was relatively 'unlucky' enough to rule over this period in parliament would find themselves with a virtually impossible job of massively reducing waste without looking like a heartless bastard in some respects. I would have loved to see Gordon Brown tackle his own mess... would he have dared tackle the welfare state? Public sector pensions ? PFI contracts ?

As far as I'm concerned, Cameron is doing a sterling job in very difficult circumstances. He is facing up to our short-comings and delivering painful medicine which unfortunately has to be taken.

The least said about Forrest Gump the better.

All those thinking the Tories are the masters of balancing the books ..have a look at the link below...
The national debt rose from £100bn to £350bn while they were in power...three times the amount..
Then doubled under Labour ...until the banking crisis hit in 2008...
Hardly had a balaced budget in years the lot of them...don't believe all the shite thats trotted out..

It seems many ignore policies and just vote for whoever looks least like a tosser. Very odd and very sad.

Many dont even do that. They vote for a party that their area or family traditionally votes, its a joke

Why are you so concerned with party politics?

Policies in the mainstream party manifestos arent worth anything - should be some way of binding them to their proposals if they get elected. Another reason they have no credibility as a profession.

This ^^^^^ puppets, every last one of them, meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Another vote for this.

Problem is the idea of democracy is the literal meaning of the word. Rule by the people. All the people currently do is decide which of the pigs has a turn at the trough every five years.

What did Labour do for Sunderland again?
I see Shields is flourishing.
Have you visited the city centre recently?
I know where i'm from and it's not 30 years ago, although when i walk around it takes some convincing.
13 years Labour were in power, the first leader to hold that time in office, and in all of that time Sunderland just sank.
Vote Labour, i'd rather vote monster raving loony party for the good it gave us, at least i might be able to get a laugh.
When Sunderland is overtaken by Gateshead, Hartlepool and Seaham it doesn't take much thinking about really.

Rumour also has it Labour might actually do something for the North East.
Cameron has brought more in 2 years than Labour did in 13, new contracts for Nissan, trade agreements, infrastructure, even buying Vaux.
At the same time they sent Mandy to tell us Teeside steel was being mothballed in 24 hours and there's nothing they could do about it.
Last time i checked it was back up and running again.

The hospitals and schools here improved significantly under Blair in my opinion, and he really backed the public sectors in the area.

Why are you so concerned with party politics?

Why aren't you?

I don't agree with him but I like his passion.

Politics affects your life in every way possible

Looks like you're biased, I would agree with you but your always wrong - have you got your jerry cans ready.

Labour will never get elected with Ed Milliband as leader.
The tories are only doing badly in the polls because some of tory supporting red tops are pissed with Cameron and Osbourne.

No way will Murdoch and the The Daily Mail Support Labour in a general election

Do you think he'll support the Tories? He's fuming over hackgate.
