Metro services will be running and will stop at the Stadium of Light, St Peter’s and also at Park Lane for the City Centre.
Metro timetables are available here and bus information here
The Park and Ride service will be available as normal operating from Sunderland Enterprise Park just off the A1231.
Supporters are reminded of the parking restrictions in the vicinity of the Stadium of Light. Police and local authority parking restrictions, including permit schemes, are in place on more than 60 streets and are heavily enforced.
With over 40,000 fans expected, the ticket office and turnstiles will be extremely busy and the club urges all those attending the game to take into account the significantly higher numbers of people who will be collecting tickets and accessing the stadium, when planning their journey.
The ticket office will be open from 10am on the day for both collections and ticket sales.
Stadium turnstiles will open at 1.30pm and supporters should leave additional time to enter the stadium, due to the higher attendance. Queues are anticipated at the turnstiles from 2.30pm onwards.
The FanZone will be open in the Beacon of Light before the game – full details here
