We welcome Derby County to Wearside on the evening of Friday 4th August (1945 KO) and tickets will go on sale from 9am on Thursday 20th July.
Sunderland continues its commitment to family-friendly pricing, with junior (under 16) seats for the game £10. Adult tickets are available from £25, seats for supporters over 65 are £19 and under 22s can buy a ticket for £16.
Looking ahead to his first competitive game at the Stadium of Light, manager Simon Grayson said:
“You always want a home game to start the season with and this is a great one to kick off with. We have been working hard to ensure that we are fully prepared and now we just can’t wait to get started.
