Sunderland AFC supporters are being advised to secure their seats for Saturday’s crucial clash with Chelsea as soon as possible, with over 43,000 tickets already sold.
Sam Allardyce’s side welcome the Blues to the Stadium of Light for a traditional 3pm kick off and a limited number of tickets are now available.
The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open from 9am until 5.30pm throughout the week, and from 10am on the day of the game for ticket purchases and the collection of pre-booked tickets. The ticket office and collection points will be exceptionally busy on Saturday and due to the high numbers of tickets already sold, there will be no cash turnstiles in operation. Fans are strongly advised to buy their tickets in advance wherever possible, to avoid disappointment.
The popular Fan Zone, located on the south east corner of the stadium, will be open from 12 noon on Saturday, with live music provided by highly-rated Sunderland indie band, Black Lines in the build up to kick off. Currently recording their debut release, due over the summer, Black Lines are quickly carving their name onto the landscape of North East music.
As well as the headline live music performance, a range of fun entertainment for young and old alike will be on offer, along with extensive food and beverage options. The Fan Zone offers the perfect venue for supporters wanting to soak up the pre-match atmosphere on Saturday. It will also open for an hour after the game.
