Lucy Norman Swansea City AFC Liberty Stadium Swansea SA1 2FA
Or by email, [email protected]
Swansea will endeavour to respond and resolve each claim within a reasonable time frame, although taking into account potential delays due to the Christmas period.
Match ticket refunds will be facilitated by the Sunderland AFC ticket office if required. Tickets already purchased will remain valid for the re-arranged date
Speaking about the decision to move the game, Sunderland AFC’s chief executive Margaret Byrne said: “We strongly opposed Swansea’s request to move the game and made strenuous representations to the Premier League to that effect.
“We understand the complexities of fixture scheduling, however the decision to switch the game less than three weeks’ before it was due to be played impacts unfairly on our club and our supporters, for what is a 700 mile round trip from the North East.
“We recognise the positive gesture from the Premier League in agreeing that Sunderland supporters should be reimbursed in full by Swansea City for any costs incurred, but nevertheless we remain extremely disappointed by the decision.”
Sunderland fans who have already purchased match tickets can apply directly to Swansea City if they wish to obtain a refund for any costs incurred by the change (see above for full details).
