Sunderland AFC is advising supporters to arrive early for Wednesday night’s clash with Liverpool at the Stadium of Light.
Almost 43,000 tickets have already been sold for the game and, as cash turnstiles will not be operating, the ticket office is expected to be busy. Ticket collection points will also be very busy, with a higher number of collections of pre-paid tickets due to the festive period. Supporters wishing to buy or collect tickets should do so in advance where possible or arrive early on the night in order to avoid queues or delays.
The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open tomorrow (Monday 28 December) from 10.00am until 3.00pm, on Tuesday 29 from 9.00am until 5.30pm and on the day of the game from 9.00am until 8.00pm (kick off is at 7.45pm). Tickets can also be purchased online at www.safc.com and by telephone (see below for further details).
A special festive offer exclusively for Black Cats season card holders means that they can bring family members and friends along to the game for just £10 each. With tickets selling fast however the club advises supporters to secure their seats as soon as possible.
Standard tickets for the clash are on sale, priced from £27 for adults, £23 for over 65s and £12 for under 16s.
The stadium’s popular Fan Zone will be open from 5.45pm for fans wishing to enjoy some lively pre-match entertainment, with a special guest appearance from acclaimed local band Frankie and the Heartstrings, along with exclusive SAFC footage on big screens, as well as range of football games and activities and a host of catering and drinks options.
