Seb Larsson completed the full 90 minutes whilst Ola Toivonen replaced Zlatan Ibrahimovic at half time.
Next up for Sweden is a crucial match against group leaders Austria on Tuesday night.

Steven Fletcher started and was criticised for his part in the defeat.
Scotland play world champions Germany at home on Monday night.

Republic of Ireland

Ireland face Georgia in their next match on Monday night.
