SAFC have completed the loan signing on Yann M’Vila from Rubin Kazan on a one-year-deal, which includes an option to make permanent if we like what we see.
M’Vila becomes the fifth signing of the close season and is expected to be in the squad for our opening game at Leicester City on Saturday.
Sporting director Lee Congerton was delighted at landing M’Vila. “Yann is a player who is highly regarded by a number of elite clubs across Europe, playing for his national team of France from a young age.” Congerton told safc.com.
M’Vila was equally as delighted to have joined the lads, “I’m very happy to be a Sunderland player, I had a very good feeling training with the team; every player welcomed me and the feeling was very good with them so I’m excited for the start of the season.” M’Vila said whilst speaking to safc.com after his move.
Next on Lee Congerton’s hitlist has to be at the main end of the pitch, the end of the pitch which will turn those draws into wins. Here is hoping.
Over to you Lee.
