Pre-season fixtures have been confirmed for Sunderland AFC’s development squad.
Robbie Stockdale’s side will play four games in the build up to the start of the Barclays U21 Premier League, starting with a visit to Tow Law Town to take on the Northern League side on Saturday 11 July, 3.00pm kick-off.
Preparations continue a few days later with a trip to Belle View Park to take on Northern League side Consett AFC on Tuesday 14 July, 7.30pm kick-off.
The young Black Cats then face Boston United, travelling to The Jakemans Stadium on Tuesday 28 July for a 7.30pm kick-off against the Vanarama National League North side.
The development squad will conclude their pre-season programme with a game against Northern Premier League side Blyth Spartans on Saturday 1 August, 3.00pm kick-off at Croft Park.
Full fixtures for the Barclays U21 Premier League are set to be announced shortly.
