The match against Aston Villa will be watched by a crowd of over 44,000 at the Stadium of Light this weekend.
A limited number of tickets remain for the Barclays Premier League clash and fans are advised that cash turnstiles will not be in operation and tickets are only available from the ticket office on the day of the game.
Supporters who have yet to purchase a ticket are advised to do so in advance where possible to avoid potential queues or delays on the day of the game.
Those collecting pre-paid tickets are also advised to arrive in sufficient time ahead of kick off as the ticket office and collection points are expected to be very busy.
The Stadium of Light ticket office will be open from 9am until 5.30pm on Friday and 10am until kick off on Saturday. A 24-hour telephone booking line and online sales service is also available for supporters.
Following the Villa game, the Black Cats next home Barclays Premier League fixture will the hotly-anticipated Wear-Tyne derby, taking place on Sunday 5th April.
Tickets for the big game, which kicks off at 4pm, are available from £32 for adults, £26 for over 65s and £15 for under 16s.
