SAFC Ladies will return to home action next weekend, with a special fun day when they take on Yeovil Town Ladies FC in the FA Women’s Super League.
They have enjoyed a perfect start to their maiden WSL 2 season, winning all five of their opening matches, and entertain The Glovers on Saturday 28 June in 12noon kick-off at the Hetton Centre.
A full day of football fun kicks off with an SAFC Skills Session on the pitch for youngsters aged 5-11 from 9.30am and SAFC Foundation coaches will be putting future football stars through their paces with fun games and drills.
Youngsters can also take part in a free banner making competition, to make a sign supporting the SAFC Ladies. Everything young fans need to create an eye-catching poster will be available inside the Hetton Centre from 10.30am, with the winner being drawn at half-time.
In the run up to kick-off fans can enjoy face painting, cheerleaders and ice cream at the ground, while SAFC mascots Samson and Delilah will be meeting fans and posing for photographs.
To book a place on the SAFC Skills Session (£3 per child including match ticket) call 0191 551 5191 or email [email protected]
Tickets for the game are priced £2 for SAFC season card holders, £4 for non-season card holding adults and just £1 for under 18s and over 65s.
Match tickets are available in advance at www.safcladies.com or from the ground on the day of the game.
