Boffins want your opinions and there is a chance to win £100 in a prize draw.
According to the Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology of Oxford University, although football fans have attracted a lot of attention from the media and academia, this has been largely negative.
They are keen to find out how and why people become so passionate about football and hope to find the more positive side of the fan experience from fans of 10 Premiership teams, including Sunderland. This will be achieved through an online survey.
Participants in the pilot study enjoyed the survey and found it took 10-15 minutes to complete.
