The Club is set to welcome Durham County Cricket Club to the Stadium of Light today.
The 2013 County Champions will be special guests of the club when Sunderland take on Liverpool.
Durham CCC sealed their third championship title in just six years last week, captained by life-long Sunderland fan Paul Collingwood. Collingwood and his team-mates will be introduced to the Stadium of Light crowd at half-time, where they will parade the County Championship Trophy.
SAFC Commercial Director Gary Hutchinson said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome Durham CCC to Sunday’s game. They are excellent sporting ambassadors for the north east region and we are looking forward to being able to help them celebrate their fantastic achievement.”
