Tickets for the tie will go on general sale from 12noon Wednesday 12 December and supporters are reminded that all tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis for the cup fixture.
There is no season-ticket priority period.
Supporters can purchase tickets either in person at the Stadium of Light ticket office or by telephoning 0871 911 1973.
Tickets are priced £15 for adults and £5 for over 65s and under 21s. Supporters are reminded to quote their customer number at the time of purchase to ensure loyalty points are correctly allocated.
