As widely anticipated, we have completed our first signing of the new season with the Spaniard Carlos Cuellar joining the club in a 2 year deal.
Cuellar was a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Aston Villa where he previously worked with Martin O’Neill. He has cost O’Neill slightly less this time than the c.£8 million it took Villa to sign him from Glasgow Rangers.
