Town End Farm born comedian Mark Rough is to play his final “open to the public” show in the city in support of the community project 12-17. As part of “Mackem Laugh” Comedy Club’s attempt at bringing top class comedy to Sunderland. The gig, to be held at the project’s headquarters “Venue” ( formerly Ku Club) on High Street West on Friday 6 April.
Mark, who is retiring from comedy industry in 2014 said “I’ve been looking for a nice way to bow out in my home city and when I was approached to support the 12-17 project I was more than happy to kill two birds with one stone, to play in Sunderland and also raise money for this great youth project”
There’ll be support from up and coming acts from the circuit and Roughy will perform an extended set.
