The Manchester Branch have arranged a really special night on the eve of the Blackburn Match which might be of interest to anyone travelling down especially as reduced price accomodation has been arranged and there is a coach to the match the next day.
Headlining the event is the one and only Charlie Hurley (who will be signing reduced price copies of his autobiography).
Three other former SAFC players – John O’Hare, Gary Rowell and George Mulhall will also be there and we are promised at least one other surprise guest.
The night will be rounded off by the well known comedian and SAFC fan Mark Rough, who promises to have a few topical jokes about our black and white ‘friends’.

Branch chairman Dave Bowman commented: “Obviously, we can’t accomodate everyone who will be heading for the Blackburn game, but it will be a good to see a cross-section of red & whites from around the UK there. Charlie is truly an all-time SAFC great, so it will be nice to make a bit of fuss of him after all he did for the club. Hope to see you on the 14th!
Tickets at just £3 and £4 (for non-members) and this one sounds like it shouldn’t be missed.
