Tyne – Wear derby game moved back 24 hours

March 17, 2008 by rtg

The club has advised that the Tyne-Wear derby game, originally scheduled for Saturday 19 April, has been put back to enable it to be shown live on Sky Sports.

The game will now take place at 1.30pm on Sunday 20 April.

SAFC’s chief executive said, “We do apologise to any Sunderland supporters who may be inconvenienced by the change. On a more positive note, it being selected for live TV does mean that many more Sunderland fans will get the chance to see the game.”
