Paul Days has been very busy producing SAFC books recently and we have been lucky enough to get our hands on a copy of his latest one “Stars in Stripes – Sunderland AFC as the Vancouver Royal Canadians”.
This is another limited edition book from Paul with only 375 copies being produced, so if you want one its now or never.
The book itself has over 100 A4 pages and chronicles not only the games Sunderland played as The Royal Vancouver Canadians in 1967, but also has a less in-depth look at Sunderland throughout the 1960’s and also the world cup matches played at Roker Park in 1966.
As usual Paul has managed to unearth loads of documents and facts about the era, many of which your author was totally unaware.
Its a bit late to put on your Christmas gift list, but if you have some Christmas money to spend and you are interested in the history of SAFC we would thoroughly recommend buying this.
Even better than that, we have a copy to give away. If you would like this, all you have to do is send your full name and address to [email protected].
An entry will be picked at random from all received before 5th January 2008.
The details you send will only be used in connection with this competition and will not be retained or given to any other party.
We will publish details of the winners name and hometown after entries have closed.
If you aren’t fortunate enough to win the copy you may still be able to purchase one of the limited number remaining direct from Paul Days.
