The Riverside is north of Middlesbrough town centre and as the name suggests is by the river Tees – literally on the banks of the river. The stadium was opened in 1995 and seats some 35,000 people.
Up to 3,500 away supporters are accommodated in the south stand.
S/T holders have priority until close of business on 20 August (voucher 28). General sale commences on 30 August subject to availability.
GOING BY CAR?
Easy – A19 southbound then follow signs for the A66 eastbound signposted Middlesbrough, then follow the signs to the stadium.
Alternatively travel with one of the supporters’ association branches or with ALS.
PARKING
There are plenty of car parks provided on waste ground in the immediate area around the stadium, just off the A66.
GOING BY TRAIN?
Trains leave Sunderland station at 10 minutes to the hour and arrive at Middlesbrough one hour later. Trains back in the evening are at 1730, 1830, 1920, 2030, 2055 and 2155.

Plenty in Boro town centre, or at the Cineworld at the leisure park. Also one at Fleetpoint service station on Cambridge Road, at the junction of the A171 and A66.
