Those of you who are early risers will have noticed that the website hasn’t always been fully available early in the morning for the last fortnight (or for a large part of last Saturday).
I apologise for this. It has been due to the failure of the Web Server and Database Server to re-connect correctly after the daily backups at 5am (UK time).
I still haven’t identified what is causing this and its inconsistent as some days are okay, however I have put some tasks in place to reset things at 5.30am.
Hopefully this will mean that any outages will be restricted to between 5.00 and 5.30 (fingers crossed) until I can determine the cause of the actual problem and correct that.
