SMB Ladies Try to Raise £1000 for Bowel Cancer

March 30, 2007 by rtg

Several of the female regulars on our message boards are planning on running the Great Women’s Run in Sunderland in June and are seeking sponsorship in a bid to raise £1000 for Bowel Cancer UK.

This is quite timely as Ian Porterfield has recently been undergoing treatment for bowel cancer.

You can read more about the ladies run on our message boards and you can add to their sponsorship fund at the Just Giving Pages.

Lets all show them that their target of £1000 can be easily beaten by the generosity of Sunderland Supporters – I’m sure if we reach £2000 they might even send RTG some photos !
