Despite what many would see as a goalkeeping crisis at SAFC, Mart Poom’s loan period at Arsenal has been extended from December until the end of the season.
Poom’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season when he will become a free-agent again so it looks very much like we have seen the last of him.
McCarthy has now been linked with Israeli keeper Nir Davidovic and the official website are reporting that Davidovic will train at Sunderland this week.
