Reserves’ game postponed

August 11, 2005 by rtg

SAFC reserves’ first home game of the new season has been postponed at Mick McCarthy’s request.

The second string lost their opening game earlier this week, away to Birmingham City, and were due to take on Wigan at Durham’s Archibalds Stadium on Monday 15th August.

But due to the absence of several players through international duties, Mick realised he would have insufficient numbers to field a full reserves squad for the game.

The match has been rescheduled for Wednesday 26 October at 7pm.
