Sunderland striker Mickey Bridges has agreed terms for a one-year contract with League One side Bristol City and will sign on the dotted line subject to passing a medical on Sunday.
He’s expected to make his westcountry debut in a friendly on Monday night against Bristol Rovers.
City gaffer Brian Tinnion said, “I don’t anticipate any problems with the medical – Michael’s problems were more than two years ago.
“He proved himself a Premiership player and is still a good age.”
Bridges will join up at City with Marcus Stewart who also recently moved from the Stadium of Light to join Tinnion’s west country side.
