Sunderland have announced a change of venue for one of their pre-season friendlies in Canada this summer.
The first game – on Thursday 14th July – was due to be held at the Centennial Stadium at the University of Victoria.
But the club has this morning confirmed that the venue has been switched to the Royal Athletic Park, home of Victoria United, which seats 5,700.
SAFC has also said that although they are in discussions with Dutch club AZ Alkmaar about a friendly on Saturday 6th August, the match is not yet confirmed – and the club strongly advises supporters against making any travel arrangements at the moment.
