Injury news update

March 15, 2005 by rtg

Mart Poom has returned to light training but will not be fit for tonight’s game.

Mark Lynch is continuing treatment on his dislocated knee-cap and is hoping to return to training soon; he was injured during Sunderland’s 2-1 victory over Cardiff.

Colin Healy is progressing well in his rehabilitation from a broken leg and is due to step up the amount of work he does on his leg, very soon.

Matt Piper has undergone treatment to strengthen his knee and is expected back in training next week.

Kevin Kyle continues treatment on his hip cartilage and is also hoping to return to training soon.
